Sean Hamilton, Freshman
Intended major: visual communications
Born in Arlington, Wash.
What is your favorite part about living in Seattle?
The coexistence of yuppies and hipsters.
What is the most interesting event you have attended at SPU so
far?
How about the soccer game? Probably the soccer game, just because
it was just a bunch of people that didn't really know what they
were going to.
Coffee or tea?
Neither. Water.
Anything else?
I drink a lot of energy drinks at work because we get, like, an
endless supply.
Where do you work?
I work at Evo. It's across the canal. It's like a ski/ride/skate
shop.
What is your favorite book?
Any design book from 1973 to 2008.
Any political candidates you are following?
Not one.
Why?
I used to support Ron Paul for a while, but then, I don't know. I
like candidates in other countries...what I mean when I say other
countries, I mean from different eras. Soviet, I guess.
What is something odd or unusual you did recently?
I played rugby in my underwear.
What is the song you last listened to?
I put on Elton John to go to sleep last night, so probably "Benny
and the Jets."
How do you deal with a stressful day or week?
Uh...smoke half a pack of cigarettes.
What class have you enjoyed most so far?
Probably 2-D Design.
Do you think UCOR and UFDN are important courses for
you?
Well, for people who don't know what the cross or Jesus is. For
me, not at all.
Where do you attend church, if any?
I don't.
Do you attend any sort of other religious service or participate
in spiritual activity?
No, religion to me is not really a church thing.
What are your plans for the summer?
I'm going to do community college over the summer.
If you could have a five-minute conversation with anyone, dead
or alive, who would it be?
John Lennon.
