Car prowl
On March 4, at 12:34 a.m., a security officer monitoring the security camera system saw a man breaking into a vehicle in the Ross parking lot. As officers responded, the suspect fled in a van. The suspect was followed and the van was found crashed into a telephone pole. The Seattle police were called and attempted to track the suspect with scent dogs, but were unsuccessful. The investigation is still pending.

Burglary
On March 4, at 5:30 p.m., a security officer found that the Robbins Apartments' bike cage had been broken into. Taped camera footage revealed that several bikes had been stolen the night before. The vehicle used by the suspect has been identified and that information has been turned over to the Seattle Police Department.
