Men's B-Ball SPU seniors go out with flair You can feel it in the air. The wind begins to change; you can feel the atmosphere around you getting thicker. Everyone can tell that something is about to happen -- something big, something epic. Things start to slow down, you see it coming; it can’t be stopped. Step by step it gets ever closer...	Track and Field Track grabs 'last chance' The SPU track and field team took advantage of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Last Chance Indoor meet on Saturday to have a total of eight women in five events qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships.
Women's B-Ball No. 4 Women conquer rivals Senior Night at Royal Brougham Pavilion turned into a celebration as the No. 4 SPU women’s team held off Western Washington University (WWU), 76-61 Saturday night and clinched at least a share of their third consecutive Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) title.	Gymnastics Sullivan holds No. 2 in nation Dedicated. Determined. Hard working. These are just some of the words that her coaches and teammates use to describe sophomore SPU gymnast Sarah Sullivan. "Sarah has such a passion for gymnastics," said Assistant Coach Kathy Siwek.
Gymnastics SPUGs take third at OSU This past weekend the Falcons traveled down to Corvallis, Ore. where they faced nationally-ranked No. 12 Oregon State University (OSU) and California. SPU Sports Pulse With a second quarter of intramural sports coming to a close and spring intramurals on the horizon, I decided to see what changes students would like to have made to the program.
The Runaround I can count the things that I am qualified to do on two hands. First hand: playing minesweeper, working on a deadline, driving a truck, Bible quizzing and diagramming football plays.
