A ‘change’ voters believe in Over 18,000 people rose to their feet, erupting into applause Friday afternoon as Senator Barack Obama, D-Ill., was introduced at Key Arena by Governor Christine Gregoire.

Baking with an international goal With 10 to 15 bread orders a week, senior Laura Opperman sometimes feels like she’s running a mini bakery out of the kitchen of her Wesley Apartments. Opperman is selling loaves of homemade bread to help finance her upcoming trip to South America.


Effects of Katrina still around
When natives of New Orleans returned after Hurricane Katrina all they saw was brown and blue. The brown was the polluted water and the trees. The blue was the tarps that covered holes in the roofs-the ones people climbed out of to escape the flooding.
