New 37five project offers cash to charity
The Office of University Ministries has launched a new project
in order to increase student attendance at university worship
programs. Called the 37five Plan, it is named after the $37,500
which the university has ascribed to the program annually, and will
award $375 to 33 small groups per quart...

CFE requirements examined, found problematic; cut
Since coming to SPU in February 2006, Minister of Christian
Community Formation and Office Manager Deb Nondorf has reviewed
more than 300 online student responses per quarter for the required
Campus Faith Exploration (CFE) Program.

Criticism leads to change
Student criticism of the bus pass system run by ASSP has
triggered a series of changes this quarter, including a new day
pass program and an emphasis on better communication of already
available programs.

Bringing music back to SPU
After a year of silence KSPU, SPU’s online radio station,
is preparing for a fully functioning year. Led by sophomore Tyler
Santoro, the station hopes to make up for the attention and
interest they lost last year.
