Hip-hop artists bring ‘beats’
On Friday night in Royal Brougham Pavilion, Portland-based
rappers Jelani "G-Natural" Greenidge and Jaamar "J-MAC" McKelvey,
rapping about breakfast cereal, received enthusiastic applause from
150 attendees.

Seniors display final art projects
Seniors majoring in studio art have worked all year to put
together their final Senior Studio Art Gallery Displays, which will
each run for about a week and a half. The current display was set
up in the Art Center last Monday and will remain open for viewing
until Friday, May 23.

New Death Cab not quite up to par
For those either not from Seattle or not connected to the indie
music scene, Death Cab for Cutie was a little indie rock band from
Bellingham, Wash. This little band, formed in 1997, is now a
platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated group.
