Study break in the snow

The Nordic Club is hosting a ski trip on Saturday and Sunday at a private lodge on Stampede Pass. The trip costs $35, and anyone is welcome to attend. Those attending will have access to a sauna and hot tub at the lodge. Also included in the fee is cross-country skiing, sledding and inner-tubing, three meals, games and activities. Downhill skiing will be available at nearby Snoqualmie Pass. Shakespeare festival auditions

The Western Washington Shakespeare Festival is seeking actors to audition for the August festival. Those wishing to audition should prepare a two-minute classic monologue. Auditions will take place in the Fine Arts Building of Seattle University at 1 p.m. on April 7. Additional auditions will also take place in Bellingham and Mt. Vernon. Volunteers interested helping with costuming, set construction, lighting, sound or brochure placement can attend auditions or contact the festival producer.
